Amazon wants to get more kids thinking about becoming computer engineers.
The company launched a program earlier this month that aims to teach more than 10 million students a year how to code. Amazon said it will pay for summer camps, teacher training and other initiatives to benefit kids and young adults from low-income families who might not have learned to code otherwise. It hopes the programs spur more black, Hispanic and female students to study computer science.
Amazon declined to put a price tag on the program, called Amazon Future Engineer, but said it will take up a big chunk of the $50 million that it committed to spend on computer science education last year.
Sick of trying to learn stuff in colleges, institutes & also Universities. The people who teach there are themselves not experienced at anything other than max to max playing Slideshows.
And in my plans for the next year – 2019 I had plans to self educate myself to the extreme ends in:
1. Open Source
2. MBA (I have shortlisted around 200+ subjects)
And now I have decided to share all my learnings on this new web portal of mine.
iWebonix.com is here to stay and rock and roll.
I had request God for 1 more opportunity and he has answered – so its amazing for me.
Lets see what I can contribute to the online community.
Was working on the website of WebcomStudio. We needed a quote calculator for dynamic quotes.
Searched everywhere, could not find much.
The estimated time to develop from scratch was too high.
Had give up as could not find much of great value.
Then as usual came CodeCanyon.net to my rescue.
Found a lot of options and found the one solution that I needed the most.
Its called Cost Calculator. You can also have a look here
It simply rocks.
Some other free & paid options are:
1. Simple Price Calculator
2. Calculated Fields Form
